- 4If college pathway interest applies to your family, has the program made any specific, verifiable claims about player placement, and can they be checked directly with a college program?
- 5What is the program's basic safety/supervision plan during practice and games?
- 6Can you watch a live practice before signing?
- 7Is there any pressure to add costly private training or travel that seems out of step with the sport's typically low overhead?
Red Flags to Walk Away From
- ✕Programs charging premium fees disproportionate to the sport's genuinely low cost structure.
- ✕Unverifiable claims about college placement, given how new and decentralized this pathway still is.
- ✕No clear safety/supervision plan despite flag football's lower (but non-zero) injury profile.
