Terms of Use

Travel Sports Truth is an independent, parent-facing educational platform covering youth travel sports, including soccer, ice hockey, baseball, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball, competitive dance/cheer, and flag football. The Site provides general cost information, governing-body and recruiting data, coaching-credential explanations, safety and injury-risk information, and related educational commentary and resources.

The Site does not rank, rate, score, or evaluate any specific club, team, league, coach, or organization, and does not identify or name any specific club, team, league, coach, or organization for comparison purposes. The Site is not a recruiting service, legal service, financial advisory service, club-placement service, or guaranteed factual database, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any specific club, league, or governing body referenced on the Site.

You may use the Site only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes and only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. By using the Site, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You agree to use the Site solely for legitimate informational purposes. You may view, print, or download limited portions of the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided that you do not remove proprietary notices or misrepresent the source of the content.

You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, abusive, or misleading purpose.
• Submit false, fabricated, misleading, or knowingly inaccurate information through any form, survey, correction request, submission tool, email, or other channel.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or imply your affiliation with any person, club, organization, or business.
• Interfere with, disrupt, damage, overburden, or impair the operation or security of the Site or any connected networks or systems.
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, copy, extract, monitor, republish, frame, mirror, or systematically collect Site content, data, cost figures, calculator or quiz outputs, written analyses, tools, layouts, or materials by automated means or for any commercial purpose without prior written consent.
• Bypass or attempt to bypass access restrictions, security features, or protective technological measures.
• Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious code, malware, spyware, or harmful technology.
• Reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, sell, license, or exploit any portion of the Site except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

The Site and all content made available through it are provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, financial, recruiting, educational, medical, psychological, or other professional advice. You are solely responsible for evaluating any information obtained from the Site and for consulting appropriate professionals where necessary.

The Site may include information derived from public sources, governing-body publications, industry cost research, historical data, estimates, editorial analysis, and ongoing review. Because costs, governing-body rules, coaching-certification requirements, recruiting practices, and program structures vary by region and change over time, we do not warrant or guarantee that any content on the Site is complete, current, accurate, verified, error-free, or fit for your particular purpose. The Site provides general, aggregate, and educational information only, it does not describe or evaluate any specific club, team, or organization, and nothing on the Site should be treated as a factual representation about any particular program.

You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for independently verifying any information before relying on it or making decisions based on it. Because the Site does not track or report on any specific club, team, or organization, this includes verifying current costs, fees, policies, coaching credentials, governing-body rules, and safety practices directly with the specific club, team, league, or organization you are considering, and with the relevant sport's governing body where applicable.

The Site may permit users to submit information, comments, experiences, corrections, inquiries, reviews, or other materials ("Submissions"). By providing any Submission to us, you grant Travel Soccer Truth LLC, doing business as "Travel Sports Truth" a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, display, analyze, summarize, aggregate, anonymize, and otherwise use the Submission in connection with operating and improving the Site. You represent that your Submission does not violate these Terms or any applicable law, and that you have all rights necessary to grant this license. User-submitted content may be edited, redacted, summarized, or removed at editorial discretion before publication or at any time thereafter. We reserve the right to decline to publish, remove, or modify any Submission for any reason or no reason without notice.

As between you and Travel Sports Truth, all content, software, design, text, graphics, logos, page layouts, compilations, written analyses, cost data compilations, interactive tools (including the True Cost Calculator and Realistic Odds Quiz), and other materials on the Site, excluding third-party trademarks and content owned by others, are owned by or licensed to Travel Soccer Truth LLC, doing business as "Travel Sports Truth" and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The Site may reference or link to third-party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, accuracy, availability, or practices of third parties. Accessing any third-party website or service is at your own risk.

Your use of the Site is also subject to the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, FEATURES, MATERIALS, AND SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH THE SITE ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS," "AS AVAILABLE," AND "WITH ALL FAULTS" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TRAVEL SOCCER TRUTH LLC, DOING BUSINESS AS "TRAVEL SPORTS TRUTH" AND ITS RELATED PARTIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Travel Soccer Truth LLC, doing business as "Travel Sports Truth" and its related parties from and against claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, your Submission, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and without notice, to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to all or any part of the Site for any reason or no reason.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or remove any aspect of the Site at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time in our sole discretion. Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or your use of the Site, including disputes about the validity, applicability, or enforceability of this arbitration provision, shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration, rather than in court. Arbitration shall be conducted by a neutral arbitrator under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) or JAMS, as selected by Travel Soccer Truth LLC. The arbitrator shall have authority to grant any remedy that would be available in court. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. You may opt out of this arbitration provision by sending written notice to legal@travelsportstruth.com within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms.

YOU AND TRAVEL SPORTS TRUTH AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION OR PROCEEDING. Unless both you and Travel Sports Truth agree otherwise in writing, the arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of class, collective, or representative proceeding.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Iowa.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, General Disclaimer, and Accuracy & Corrections Policy, and any other properly posted legal notices, constitute the entire agreement between you and Travel Soccer Truth LLC, doing business as "Travel Sports Truth" with respect to your use of the Site.
